DESCRIPTION:This conference seeks to convene presentations\, panels\, and d
 iscussions that serve to promote better understanding of the opportunities
  and barriers for improving the capacity of philosophers of all specializa
 tions to collaborate and engage with scientists\, engineers\, policy-maker
 s\, and a wide range of publics to foster epistemically and ethically resp
 onsible scientific and technological research and policy-making. The meeti
 ng will be structured so as to encourage dialogue and catalyze future coll
 aborations in this important area of research and practice. The attendees 
 include graduate students\, postdocs\, and faculty who are already doing t
 his work or who wish to do this work in the future and are looking to expl
 ore ways to do so.\n
